Experience a Snuba or Snuba Doo tour in Kailua-Kona on The Big Island. It is a unique, patented shallow water dive system, bridging the gap between snorkeling and scuba diving. It was created for those who enjoy the ocean and would like to experience the wonders of breathing underwater.

Snuba and Snuba Doo is safer and easier than scuba and does not require certification. Caring professional guides are with you the whole time. Progress at your own pace, letting go of the raft and diving down when you choose to at a depth you prefer.

Before entering the water, you will be given a complete yet brief orientation of what you can expect on your snuba dive. Your guide will be with you at all times. Snuba is easily accessible to couples, families, children and seniors. Non-swimmers are welcome!

Summary: 72 HOURS ADVANCE BOOKING REQUIRED. Tour does not include hotel pickup or drop-off. A minimum total of 4 passengers is required for the tour to depart, maximum 10. Minimum age for Snuba is 8, Snuba Doo minimum age is 4. Please reserve online, or call us toll-free at 888-837-6930. There is a $3.95 processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order.
There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown includes any and all taxes, fuel surcharges, and service fees. There are no additional charges.

Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

The Kona Coast offers some of the best underwater experiences in the Hawaiian Islands. Sealife is plentiful and the water is crystal clear. Kona's variety of fish, eagle and manta rays, sea turtles, eels, octopus, coral reefs, and underwater volcanic topography is unsurpassed. Because of the calm, clear waters and visitor-friendly weather, the Kona Coast affords some of the best ocean encounters in the world.

There are over 50 snorkel/dive sites to choose from and your guides will choose the best snorkel/dive sites available depending on the weather and your personal desires.

Depending upon weather, which is rare, it's virtually impossible to get a bad dive in Kona!

SNUBA:

Snuba is for ages 8 and up, wearing a lightweight harness that tethers you to the Snuba raft on the surface by way of a 25-foot hose. The raft carries your tank on the surface and follows your every move. You breathe through a regulator, wearing a small weight belt, mask and fins. Minimal equipment for maximum fun!.

SNUBA DOO:

Snuba Doo is for children ages 4 through 7. Children wear a specially designed flotation vest, which provides buoyancy to support the participant on the surface. A standard regulator with smaller, kid's sized, mouthpiece provides a supply of air connected to the air cylinder located on the Snuba raft.

The Snuba Doo airline is 10 feet in length, which is the furthest distance the Snuba Doo kid's can be from the Snuba raft. If they get tired they can lay on the Snuba raft. They never have to worry about sucking in salt water through a Snorkel and most importantly, a Snuba Guide will be with the group the entire time.
